Surya Grahan January 2011 in India – Solar Eclipse on January 4 in 2011

On 4 January 2011, Surya Grahan will occur in India. This is partial solar eclipse, also referred to as Rahu grastha Khagras Surya Grahan. It is visible in some North Western parts of India. This Surya Grahan will be visible in much of much of Europe, North Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia. In India, it will be visible in Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, etc.

Surya Grahan kaal or Solar Eclipse time or timings on 4 January 2011:

As per Indian Standard Time (IST), the Surya Grahan time is at 2.37 hrs afternoon. The greatest eclipse point will occur at 4.17 pm.

As per Hindu Astrologers, the Surya Grahan time is:

  • Surya Grahan Sparsha kaal – 2.37 pm
  • Surya Grahana Madhya kaal – 3.29 hrs afternoon
  • Surya grahana moksha kaal – 4.17 pm
  • Surya grahanam adhyantha punya kaal – 1 hour and 38 minutes
